The Global Peace Leadership Conference (GPLC) Africa 2024 took place from June 25th to 27th at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Nairobi, Upper Hill. Themed "One Family under God: Empowering African Renaissance as a Global Catalyst for Freedom, Peace, and Sustainable Development," the conference saw over 5,000 leaders from across the world converge in Nairobi for a spirited and impactful conference. Key objectives included fostering an African Renaissance rooted in the continent's unique heritage and values, empowering leadership, strengthening intracontinental partnerships, and promoting ethical global citizenship.
The African Union hosted a webinar titled "Educating an African Fit for the 21st Century," featuring sessions on "Education Policies for Skills Development" on November 15, 2024, and "Powering Education Using Technology" on December 4, 2024. Sunrise Virtual School arranged and conducted very successful AU webinars with over 5,000 educators from across the continent participating.
The Renewable Energy Conference 2024 was held in Nairobi, Kenya and will bring together industry experts, policymakers, and stakeholders. The conference will explore the future of renewable energy in Kenya and beyond
